Port of Jaffa

Yafa Jaffa

As one of the oldest cities in the world, Jaffa offers a variety of tours for everyone. Here are a few examples of tours that can be added to and modified as needed. In my opinion, one of the most exciting sites is the old Jewish cemetery in 'Agmi, where Rabbi Yehuda Margosa is buried.

The Maronite Quarter

The lesser-known side of touristy Jaffa reveals hidden corners, luxurious homes, fights over technology, and a glorious history.

יפו הקדושה

It's impossible to miss Jaffa's church towers and the ringing of bells alongside the minarets and the calls of the muezzin. But where does Jaffa derive its holiness from? How did a stone from the Banias end up on the roof of the important church, and is it also sacred to Judaism?

יפו הנסתרת מהעין

You can walk in Jaffa and you can walk in the unfamiliar Jaffa - the city that has been surprising for at least 4,000 years, has secrets in its history and now is the time to discover them: How did Jaffa precede the Tuyan horse, why is there an Egyptian palace, what is the color of anchor and where were the best soaps made in the Middle East?

Mythological Jaffa Family Tour

There are so many legends and stories associated with Jaffa that it would be a shame not to hear them, right? This tour was made especially with an emphasis on involving children and the entire family.

מסביב לשעון

The removal of the walls of Jaffa at the end of the 19th century transformed it from a small port city into a bustling city with a clock tower at its center. Neighborhoods were built around the new center, inside and outside the famous orchards.

From the Egyptian Occupation to the KGB - Abu Kabir's Story

The Egyptian occupation of Palestine in 1831 changed the entire country and Jaffa in particular. New immigrant neighborhoods were built around the city, one of them by residents of the Egyptian village of Tel el-Kabir. But how do Russian spies and Jewish graves, symbolized by the menorah, fit together here?
