The subject of Christianity in the Land of Israel and in general has fascinated me for years. I offer a selection of tours to learn about and understand the world's largest religion.
In 2025, I completed my Yad Ben Zvi internship in the field.

The different streams of Christianity
Only in Jerusalem, only a few steps separate the bells of the Latin church from the singing of the Armenian choir, between Greek Orthodox incense and the scents of Coptic perfumes. We will delve into hidden courtyards and churches, meet monks and priests in traditional attire, and discover a human mosaic unparalleled anywhere in the world – Christian testimonies from around the globe, all intertwined in the landscape, history, and soul of Jerusalem.

Mount of Olives sites
The Mount of Olives is much more than a spectacular viewpoint over Jerusalem – it is the beating heart of the story of Christianity. Here, among the ancient olive trees, Jesus walked, prayed and said goodbye to his disciples; here are monasteries and churches that celebrate the main events of his life and that of his apostles. On the tour we will walk the mountain paths, visit sites of prayer and reconstruction, and discover why this mountain is considered a sacred place that connects history, faith and the landscape of the city. Every step here tells a story that continues to influence millions of believers around the world.

Acts of the Apostles - Following the Early Christians
How did Jesus' disciples go from a small group to the world's largest religion? What enabled them to walk through the alleys of Jerusalem, to reach as far as Spain and beyond? What stories were written about the heroism, dedication, and sometimes the heavy price they paid to complete their mission? On this tour, we will follow in the footsteps of the apostles, discover the places where the stories were woven, and try to understand how the glory and faith spread from this small city to all corners of the world.

Armenian Christianity
What is a 'Khachkar' and who were Jacob the Lesser and the Greater and whose head is on display in the Armenian Quarter? Get to know a unique and extraordinary community, the first to embrace Christianity. On the tour we will pass between the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Cathedral of St. James and a visit to the Armenian Museum, including the famous bird mosaic.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre
A few steps after crossing the gates of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the outside world fades away. The scent of incense fills the air, candlelight flickers on the ancient stone walls, hidden chapels and voices of prayer are heard in languages from all corners of the world. Within this complex complex, different Christian denominations work side by side – all subject to a unique historical arrangement, the “status quo”, that maintains a delicate balance in the holy place. This is a journey through time, faith and the politics of Jerusalem – in the heart of the city.

The Way of Suffering - Via Dolorosa
The way every pain, every agony and every moment of devotion became a global symbol. The 14 stations – each a story, a secret, a riddle – hide something beyond what meets the eye. Among the hidden churches, hidden courtyards and corners that preserve ancient memories, history and faith live in the stones, walls and shadows. Every step here is an encounter with moments that changed the world.
